If you're a regular visitor of this website, you've probably
noticed that a new feature is being rolled out from time to time, little by
little. Today, the site just completed adding two (2) new commenting systems to
make you Isidoreans and other visitors feel free to leave comments in the most
convenient way possible! Introducing the IntenseDebate and Facebook comments
systems!
IntenseDebate Comment System
IntenseDebate is one of the most very popular commenting
systems used by many websites. It's lite and very easy to use. There are just
enough reasons why it's been decided to go for this commenting system. One
reason is that comments can be moderated by one particular account/person. In
case some are just spamming on the site, there's a way to filter them and never let them come back (be warned). Another
reason is that, it is very easy to implement. Just one click to install to
supported platforms such as Typad, Blogger and Wordpress and you have an
ultimate comment system! Additional features include cool widgets such as the
one at the Recent Comments section of this site.
Leaving a comment using IntenseDebate is easy. Simply
key in your reaction/comments on the large text area then to be able to post
your comment, login using your IntenseDebate, Wordpress or OpenID account and click the Submit Comment button.
If you don’t have an account in any of the mentioned platforms, you may rather input
your name(required), email(required but will not be published) and your website url(if any) before clicking the submit
button. Take a look at the screenshot below.
Facebook Comment System
Another commenting system we just had completely and successfully rolled out is the Facebook commenting system. While it is unquestionable that IntenseDebate can offer a nice commenting system already, it doesn't have an intuitive function for 'social reach'. Since most Isidoreans are on Facebook, it is a must-do for us that we find ways to make this website reach them by becoming more social. Facebook comment plugin is a very much big of help for those who are relatively new in leaving comments on websites.
To leave a comment via Facebook, just type your text on the large text area. The system automatically detects if you're already logged in on Facebook so if you're staying on Facebook prior to visiting a site with such plugin, you don't need to Facebook Connect. type the Comment button when done and you're comment is submitted!
